Wet Foundation:  Put a small amount of foundation powder onto the lid of the jar and spray a little water or setting spray and dab the makeup brush or blending sponge into the loose foundation powder.

Dry Foundation:  Simply tap some loose powder into the lid of the jar, swirl your brush in it, and tap off any excess powder.  Then buff the foundation onto your skin using circular motions.
